El Salvador Library Launches Bitcoin Node and Education Hub

This is a major step for a country that made headlines in 2021. It became the first in the world to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.

The initiative, which includes a Bitcoin node, aims to provide citizens with greater access to Bitcoin’s technology. It also seeks to foster a deeper understanding of the crypto.

El Salvador’s National Library Launches Bitcoin Node and Education Hub

Well-known Salvadoran Bitcoin educator @PupusasG will be running the full Bitcoin node from the library. His work has already made waves by helping countless individuals understand Bitcoin’s value and potential.

The Bitcoin node will allow the library to support the decentralized nature of the Bitcoin network, further solidifying the country’s commitment to the cryptocurrency. Running a full node helps validate transactions and ensures that the Bitcoin network remains decentralized, transparent, and secure.

But this isn’t just about running a node. The National Library is also launching a dedicated Bitcoin section that will feature resources on Bitcoin, blockchain technology, and financial literacy. This section will be a hub for anyone looking to dive into the world of cryptocurrency, providing materials for people at all levels of experience.

More About Bitcoin Education

Telkom University in Indonesia has become the first university in the country to offer a dedicated Bitcoin course. The “My First Bitcoin” diploma program aims to educate students about the fundamentals of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Launched with two cohorts and over 60 students, the course provides an opportunity for young Indonesians to learn about Bitcoin’s technology, its potential, and its impact on the global economy.
