EMURGO is launching a new product that could change how crypto holders use their assets.
At its core, the Cardano Card allows users to spend ADA and other supported assets like Bitcoin, Solana, USDC, and USDT in everyday life.
This crypto Card is more than just a tool for payments. It’s a way to engage directly with the broader Cardano ecosystem. EMURGO plans to channel a portion of card-generated profits back into the Cardano Treasury. This supports long-term network development and decentralized governance, giving users a way to contribute to Cardano’s future every time they swipe.
In addition to spending, the Cardano Card will unlock access to powerful blockchain-based financial tools. Users will be able to stake ADA and potentially earn rewards, borrow stablecoins using their ADA as collateral, and receive on-chain cashback for purchases. The card will also help users qualify for exclusive airdrops and access yield opportunities from real-world assets (RWAs) that have been tokenized on Cardano. All of this comes with full user custody, ensuring control remains in the hands of the cardholder.

Alex, founder of Obchakevich Research, recently shared his rankings of the top crypto cards for use in the European Economic Area (EEA), naming KASTcard, KoloHub, Nexo, and Gnosis Pay as the leading options. The evaluation was based on several key factors, including crypto-to-fiat conversion costs, cashback rates, daily spending, and ATM limits in euros, Apple Pay availability, and brand authority.
According to the data, KASTcard came out on top with a standout rating of 9. It offers up to 15 percent cashback, no crypto-to-fiat conversion fees, and unlimited spending, making it ideal for active users. KoloHub and Nexo followed closely with strong ratings of 8.1 and 8, thanks to their competitive rewards and limits. Gnosis Pay also performed well, earning a score of 7.8, with no conversion costs and cashback of up to 5 percent.
