How Many SEI To Become a Crypto Millionaire by 2026?

What Is Going on at Sei Network?

Sei Network is a project that has the word ‘financial’ all written over it. It caters to DeFi and offers a variety of financial apps. You may want to check out my recent deep dive video into Sei Network. Yesterday, I also published a popular video that featured Sei. 

It also claims to be the fastest parallel blockchain. A parallel blockchain offers faster and cheaper transactions compared to a traditional blockchain. A parallel chain can process various transactions at the same time. This in contrast to a traditional blockchain that processes one transaction at a time. See the picture below.

So, this shows that Sei is fast. That’s important in DeFi. The low-cost transactions are also part of this. Now, Sei is preparing itself to have its infrastructure ready for RWA. As you may know by now, that’s one of the most promising crypto sectors. Institutions are roaming around RWA, to tokenize real-world assets. For example, BlackRock’s CEO, is a fan. You can’t get much bigger when talking about influential people in TradFi. 

So, which rails is Sei Network setting up to accommodate RWA in its infrastructure? There are two major steps. So, let’s take a closer look at what these steps are and why they matter.

1. Integration with Chainlink’s CCIP

This is Chainlink’s interoperability protocol. This connects Sei with 61 networks and 142 tokens. And this list is growing. It also enabled over $20 trillion in transaction value (TVE). 

2. Circle’s $USDC Is Coming to Sei Network

Native $USDC on Sei. This brings more than $62 billion to Sei’s ecosystem. That’s great news for Sei. 

And guess what, Circle Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP). Chainlink’s CCIP was already integrated with Circle’s CCTP since January 2024. This means that Sei is ready to engage in the RWA market. The rails are being built as we speak.

TA and $SEI Tokenomics

Let’s talk about TA or technical analysis. The most recent support level was at 14 cents in April. With the current $SEI price of 27 cents, I don’t see us going back there anytime soon. Unless there’s a black swan event. For the record, $SEI’s ATL (All-Time Low) was in October 2023, at 9.5 cents. That’s well over a year ago.

Great entry points in hindsight. But, yeah, I wish I had a crystal ball! So, instead, let’s take a look at $SEI’s current resistance. That dates to early December 2024. $SEI hit 70.9 cents, so, for convenience’s sake, 71 cents. That’s roughly a 2x from where it is right now. For $SEI’s ATH, we need to go back to March 2024. Its current ATH is $1.14, a 3x from its current price. Over the last 30 days, $SEI is up by 111%.

$SEI has a $2.1 billion market cap. Out of the 10 billion total supply of $SEI, 5.7 billion already circulate. That’s 57% and for a relatively young project, it’s not bad. So, the more tokens that circulate, the less vesting and unlocking surprises you will have.

Sei Network’s TGE came in hand-in-hand with its $SEI airdrop. In case you remember, that airdrop didn’t go down well with its recipients for how small it was. It caused quite a bit of backlash from Sei’s community. However, it seems that Sei Network has overcome these issues and is faring rather well.

$SEI has monthly unlocks of 55.56 million $SEI until August 2027. That is 0.96% of the circulating supply. These monthly unlocks may cause minor price drops, but nothing too serious. However, unlocks won’t end until March 2031. That’s another 5 1/2 years to go. As the picture below shows.

How Many $SEI to Become a Millionaire?

So, this is the part you’ve been waiting for. Let’s see how many $SEI it takes to become a millionaire by 2026. The current $SEI price is 36 cents. That’s 2% down on the day. Nothing to worry about, it’s part of the general market move. Bitcoin pulled back a bit, and some altcoins did as well.

Crunching the Numbers

• So, at 36 cents, you will need 2.77 million $SEI to become a millionaire.
• But, over the last 30 days, $SEI is up by 111%. That means, if it does this again in the next 30 days, it will be up to around 75 cents. Now you will need 1.33 million $SEI to become a millionaire.
• However, do you think that $SEI’s price actions will stop at 75 cents? Not really, $1 is my next target, so, that’s easy, that’s 1 million $SEI.
• My next goal is to see $SEI at $2. So, now you will need 500,000 $SEI.
• But what if Sei really goes parabolic during this bull run? What if it hits a $5 price? That’s a 14x from 36 cents. Not unheard of in previous bull markets, so let’s give it a try. This will need you to get 200,000 $SEI. At the current price of 36 cents, that’s $72,000 worth for the potential of $1 million. Do you think that’s a good deal?
• To me, it looks like $5 is the max that $SEI can reach this year. But what if I stretch it a bit? How about a $10 price tag? Sei fans will like this, no doubt about it. This will set you back 100,000 $SEI to become a millionaire at $10.
