This article highlights how to navigate DexScreener to identify early projects to invest in.

It is not easy to identify which token to invest in when there are thousands of tokens launching every day. You need to master the art of navigating multiple platforms to filter from this list of tokens and one such platform is DexScreener. This guide focuses on the DexScreener process we follow when looking at projects on Robinhood Chain that appear early enough for shorter term activity. The approach centers on identifying pairs soon after they show up and working with a faster time horizon.

For longer term or mid term positions we also review other platforms, additional on chain data, and social signals. That fuller process will be covered in a follow up article.
We go directly to the Robinhood Chain section at
https://dexscreener.com/robinhood
Most sessions begin on the New Pairs tab when searching for early activity. The Trending tab is useful once we want to see what is already drawing attention.

Near the top of the page we also check the Metas section. Metas are the narrative categories DexScreener displays. Looking at which metas are active at the moment gives a sense of the broader attention currently present on the chain.
In the top area of the Robinhood Chain page there are filters and tabs for Profile, Boosted, Ads, and Launchpad.
Boosted projects show a lightning badge with a number indicating the boost size. These tokens have paid for temporary higher visibility in the Trending rankings. We treat the Boosted filter as an additional layer of information that shows which projects are spending on exposure. Switching to the Boosted view lets us scan what is currently being promoted.
Ads appear as banner placements. When a project has an ad slot running we take note of it as another visibility signal. It does not alter the underlying numbers but indicates that budget is being used for awareness.

Profile (sometimes shown as Dex Paid or Enhanced Token Info) means the team has added a logo, description, and social links. We use this as a light filter when we prefer pairs that already have more complete information filled in.
None of these paid signals stand alone. They simply add context while scanning for early short term opportunities.
We open the Filters panel and set a consistent baseline aimed at early activity:

All conditions use AND logic so a pair must meet every setting. After applying the filter we sort by age (newest first) or by volume depending on the session.

This combination keeps the list focused on pairs that already show some liquidity and trading activity while still catching them early enough for a shorter term approach.
We scan the visible columns for:
We look for rising volume relative to age and a reasonable number of transactions. Extremely high transaction counts paired with very few unique wallets often point to bot activity so those pairs are noted and set aside.
When a pair stands out we open it and focus on:

We also note which DEX the pair is trading on.
Even for shorter term activity we paste the contract address into the official Robinhood Chain explorer to confirm basic details such as verification status and rough holder distribution. This step is quick and helps avoid obvious copycats or incomplete contracts.

The numbers above are our baseline. On quieter days we sometimes lower the liquidity and volume minimums slightly. On very active days we raise them so the list stays clean. We also keep a second, stricter version of the filter (higher liquidity, slightly older pairs) when we want fewer but more established-looking projects.
This DexScreener focused process is how we currently surface early projects on Robinhood Chain when the plan is to work with a shorter time frame. A follow up article will describe how we expand the research for mid term or longer holds by combining other platforms, deeper on chain checks, and social signals.
