Hyperliquid Gets Dedicated Fiber Feed for Faster Market Data

DoubleZero has launched a dedicated fiber market data feed for Hyperliquid, giving pro desks the DEX's full order book outside the public APIs.

Hyperliquid’s full order book is now available to professional trading firms through a dedicated fiber connection instead of its public APIs. DoubleZero launched the feed through its Edge market-data service on September 24, giving firms a continuous and ordered stream of Hyperliquid market data.

The feed covers Hyperliquid’s native perpetual futures and markets operated by trade[XYZ], which uses Hyperliquid’s infrastructure for perpetual contracts linked to assets including oil, gold and silver. The service was developed with validator operators and ecosystem partners including Hyperion DeFi, MAVAN and Kinetiq.

What changed for Hyperliquid market data

Previously, firms that wanted a complete view of Hyperliquid’s order book had to piece together data from public API responses or operate their own Hyperliquid nodes.

DoubleZero said changes to Hyperliquid’s public APIs have reduced the frequency and depth of updates available through those channels. Its new feed provides a continuous, ordered stream designed for market makers, quantitative trading firms and proprietary trading desks that need consistent order book updates.

The Hyperliquid feed runs over DoubleZero’s global fiber network and is now the third venue available through its Edge market-data service, following Solana and prediction market Kalshi.

Why dedicated fiber matters

Professional trading firms rely on consistent market data to monitor changes in an order book and make automated trading decisions.

Traditional electronic exchanges such as CME and Nasdaq already distribute market data through dedicated networks. Hyperion DeFi CEO Hyunsu Jung said Hyperliquid can now use a similar model, where market data is published once and distributed simultaneously over dedicated fiber.

The difference is that Hyperliquid remains an onchain trading venue. Traditional exchanges allow firms to place their systems close to the infrastructure that processes trades, while Hyperliquid executes trades onchain.

DoubleZero’s service only delivers market data. It does not execute trades or give firms a faster path to place an order.

What the new feed does not change

The dedicated connection gives professional firms a more direct and consistent way to receive Hyperliquid’s market data, but it does not remove all latency differences.

A firm’s physical location still affects how quickly it can receive data. The new feed also does not turn Hyperliquid into a traditional exchange with colocated trading infrastructure.

The change is mainly about how market data reaches professional traders, bringing part of the infrastructure around onchain markets closer to the model already used by traditional electronic exchanges.

What comes next

DoubleZero’s Hyperliquid feed adds another layer of professional market infrastructure around one of the largest onchain trading venues.

The service currently focuses on market-data delivery rather than trade execution. Pricing, specific latency improvements compared with public APIs and the commercial terms for accessing the feed will determine how widely professional trading firms adopt it.
