The MON airdrop is to reward both Monad’s early believers and long-time crypto participants. It’s divided into five main categories: Monad Community, Onchain Users, Crypto Community, Crypto Contributors, Crypto Curious, and Monad Builders.
Anyone who qualifies under more than one track will receive the combined total of all their allocations. The official claim portal is now live, and you can connect your EVM or Solana wallets to verify ownership. Monad warns users to avoid fake websites since there’s only one official claim page. The claim period runs until November 3, 2025. So, take your time with it and stay cautious.
Monad took serious steps to ensure the MON airdrop reached real people, not bots. Working with Trusta AI, the team identified and removed fake or automated addresses. They were targeting actual crypto users who were on and off the blockchain.
Active DeFi users, high-volume traders, long-time NFT holders, and verified Web3 community members could be eligible for this. Monad created two tools: the Monad Community Recognizer and Monad Cards. These tools help identify and verify genuine participants.
Monad Community: The highest % goes to those who contributed to the shaping of the project.
Onchain Users: Top DeFi traders, NFT collectors, and DAO members on Ethereum and Solana.
Crypto Community: Active Web3 users of platforms like Backpack, LobsterDAO, and Farcaster.
Crypto Contributors & Curious: Rewards educators, developers, and security researchers.
Monad Builders: Consists of hackathon visitors and Monad teams.
