Phantom Wallet Launches Phantom Cash Debit Cards Globally

Phantom Wallet announced early access to Phantom Cash debit cards this week.

Phantom Wallet Launches Phantom Cash Debit Cards Globally

The U.S. launch is live now, with international availability expected soon. The new debit card allows users to spend their crypto directly.

With Phantom Cash, users can link their wallet to a debit card that works anywhere Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Identity verification unlocks not only the debit card but also seamless on- and off-ramps for converting crypto to fiat and direct bank transfers.

Expanding Crypto Payments

The Phantom Cash debit card is part of a growing trend of crypto wallets enabling direct spending. Unlike traditional crypto cards that require preloading funds or navigating multiple apps, Phantom Cash allows users to pay directly from their wallet balances. This reduces friction and makes digital assets more accessible to everyday users.

A real-world example is a freelancer who receives payments in USDC or SOL on the Phantom wallet. With the new debit card, they can immediately pay for coffee, groceries, or online subscriptions without first converting crypto to dollars manually. This seamless experience mirrors what traditional bank customers have long taken for granted while introducing the benefits of blockchain, including faster settlement and lower fees for cross-border transactions.

The rollout of Phantom Cash also reflects the increasing mainstream adoption of crypto payments. According to a 2025 report from Chainalysis, the number of users spending crypto for goods and services has grown by 60% year-over-year, highlighting a strong demand for practical solutions. By enabling card payments and direct bank transfers, Phantom is positioning itself at the forefront of this trend.

More About Phantom’s Wallet

Phantom Wallet announced the launch of Phantom Prediction Markets, a new way to trade on trending events directly from your wallet. Powered by Kalshi, the feature lets users speculate on sports, politics, crypto, and cultural moments in real time.

Hundreds of markets are available, with scores and odds updating dynamically, and trades are binary, such as choosing between “Team A” or “Team B.” Users can open positions as easily as swapping a token, and buy or sell event contracts using multiple tokens in their wallet, including CASH.
