Since TGE, Portal to Bitcoin has been busy with lots of updates and project movement including the formal launch of Bitscaler coming to a conference in October
Let’s see what’s new with Portal to Bitcoin.
As we covered recently, Portal had its TGE in early September. Along with it, Portal got some quality exchange listings so more people could buy it. You can see the list in this article from earlier this month.
The token, symbol $PTB, has done well since launch too. It’s up 56% from just under 4c to 6.2c today, according to CoinGecko. We also like that they’ve released more than 40% of the total supply already. That circulating supply is bigger than some projects that have been around and trading for much longer. We like to see this and expect continued growth in the token.

Bitscaler Launch
The Portal team is launching Bitscaler. Bitscaler is a key product in Portal’s goal to become the hub of DeFi on Bitcoin. First, Bitscaler is built directly on the Bitcoin blockchain. Features like
are now available on Bitcoin. These important tools have not been accessible to Bitcoin users without bridging or wrapping before. That’s what makes this so important. It’s putting your Bitcoin to use in a direct way.
A full live demo of how Bitscaler works is coming in a couple of weeks to the Tab Conference in Atlanta. Now besides atomic swaps, other DeFi features we take for granted on other platforms like AMMs, derivatives, and prediction markets can come to native Bitcoin. And many of us are excited about it.
