Overview

The Quant QNT price sits at $241.53 on October 9, 2026, trading well above the 200-day EMA of $80.91 but locked beneath significant overhead resistance. From a swing high of $371.85 down to a swing low of $55.20, Quant price has carved out a middle zone where bulls and bears are locked in a stalemate. The asset is positioned between the Fibonacci 0.500 level of $213.52 and the 0.618 level of $250.89, suggesting price has recovered but lacks conviction to break higher.

Across the full spectrum of technical indicators, the weight of evidence leans neutral with a cumulative score of just 5.3 out of 10. While moving averages paint a bullish long-term picture and RSI shows moderate upside momentum, both volume and momentum indicators are flashing caution. The Quant crypto price is caught between a trendline resistance at $252.38, stacked overhead resistance zones, and a deteriorating On-Balance Volume trend that suggests distribution is outpacing accumulation.

RSI: Quant price at risk of overbought mean reversion

The RSI at 63.7 sits firmly above the 50 midline and within bullish territory, but it has not yet entered classic overbought conditions above 70. This reading indicates that momentum remains positive and price still has room to accelerate upward before exhaustion sets in. However, the RSI is not confirming the strength you might expect from an asset trading at these levels, suggesting that the next move could pivot on whether QNT price can sustain buying pressure above the $252.38 trendline.

Score: 7 / 10 | Bullish

Moving Averages: Quant price supported by a clean bullish alignment

The EMA structure is deeply bullish: price at $241.53 sits above the EMA 20 at $206.10, the EMA 50 at $145.02, the EMA 100 at $110.88, and the EMA 200 at $80.91. This clean stacking of exponential moving averages is textbook confirmation that Quant is in an established uptrend, and the distance from price to the 200-day MA signals strength in the underlying macro structure. When conducting a Quant QNT price analysis and chart review, this alignment is one of the few truly encouraging signals, because it tells us that higher timeframe buyers remain in control and the long-term bias remains intact.

Score: 9 / 10 | Bullish

Bollinger Bands: Quant price coiling between mid-band and upper resistance

Price at $241.53 is trading between the Bollinger Bands mid-line of $197.39 and the upper band at $363.63, positioned in the upper half of the envelope. This zone suggests moderate volatility and that price has momentum, but the distance to the upper band means there is still room to run before hitting true extremes. The mid-band at $197.39 now acts as dynamic support, and if Quant price breaks below this level, it could signal a loss of upside momentum and a reversion toward the $145.02 EMA 50 support zone.

Score: 6 / 10 | Bullish

Fibonacci Retracements: Quant price prediction 2026 hinges on the 0.618 level

The Fibonacci 0.618 retracement from swing high to swing low sits at $250.89, just 9.36 dollars above current price. This proximity to the 0.618 level is significant because it often acts as a structural turning point for longer-term trends. Quant price is currently between the 0.500 level at $213.52 and the 0.618 at $250.89, a bullish zone that historically precedes either a breakout to higher Fibonacci extensions or a deeper pullback. For a Quant price prediction 2026 outlook, whether price can hold above the 0.618 will be critical to determining if the uptrend can sustain into year-end.

Score: 7 / 10 | Bullish

Support Levels: Why is Quant QNT price vulnerable to deeper pullbacks

The nearest support sits at $220.00, about 21.53 dollars below current price and representing a 8.9% decline. Below that, support clusters tightly at $72.45, $70.86, and $69.36, but these levels are so far away that they feel almost theoretical in a near-term context. The spacing between the first support at $220.00 and the second tier at $72.45 represents a massive gap, which is why the $220.00 level is critical: if it breaks on a daily close, Quant price could accelerate lower rapidly, making this zone a key make-or-break boundary for bulls.

Score: 4.5 / 10 | Neutral

Resistance: Quant price faces a wall of supply overhead

Resistance zones are stacked at $270.00, $278.24, $327.29, and the swing high at $371.85, creating a congested zone of overhead supply that Quant price must overcome. The first layer at $270.00 is only 28.47 dollars away, and this is likely where the next test will occur. If Quant cannot convincingly break above $270.00 on volume, then the entire resistance wall remains intact, and the risk of a reversion becomes material. This tight stacking of resistances is one reason the cumulative score remains neutral: there is simply too much overhead resistance for bulls to feel confident.

Score: 3 / 10 | Bearish

Trendline: Quant price failing to extend above the ascending line

The ascending trendline sits at $252.38, only 10.85 dollars above the current Quant QNT price of $241.53. This near-term resistance is crucial because a break above it would confirm that the uptrend is accelerating, while a failure would suggest that momentum has stalled. Price is currently below this line, which technically means the short-term trend is not in breakout mode. For traders looking to understand whether the multi-month uptrend is intact, the $252.38 level is the battlefield where that question will be answered over the next few days.

Score: 4 / 10 | Bearish

MACD: Quant price momentum showing early signs of fatigue

The MACD line at 44.843046 has dipped below the signal line at 46.316422, creating a histogram reading of -1.473377. This negative histogram indicates that momentum is weakening and that the bullish cross that likely occurred weeks ago may be rolling over. While the MACD line is still positive in absolute terms, the fact that it is losing ground to the signal line is a warning flag: price rallies tend to fizzle when MACD starts to deteriorate, even if they have not yet turned fully bearish. This is one reason I would not buy Quant crypto at current levels without further confirmation.

Score: 4 / 10 | Bearish

On-Balance Volume: Quant price divergence shows distribution pressure

On-Balance Volume is in a falling trend, which means that the volume profile is weighted toward down days and sell-offs rather than up days and accumulation. This is a red flag when price is making new highs or holding elevated levels, because it suggests that the rally is not backed by strong buying intent. Instead, the falling OBV hints at profit-taking and weak hands exiting on bounces. When OBV diverges from price in this way, the traditional interpretation is that a reversal or pullback is likely in the near term, making this one of the more concerning signals in the current setup.

Score: 3 / 10 | Bearish

Chart Patterns: Quant price lacks a defined structure

No clear pattern is present on the daily chart, which means price is neither forming a recognizable reversal pattern such as a double top or triangle, nor a continuation structure like a flag. This lack of pattern definition is neutral in character: it neither confirms nor denies the bullish moving average structure or the bearish momentum signals. In the absence of a clear chart pattern, traders must rely on support and resistance levels, moving averages, and momentum indicators to guide decisions, which is why the cumulative score of 5.3 reflects the conflicting signals across the indicator suite.

My Trade: Going neutral on QNT-waiting for the next move

I'm taking a neutral stance on Quant QNT price right now because the cumulative score of 5.3 out of 10 reflects a genuine stalemate between bullish structure and bearish momentum divergence. The moving averages are beautiful-price is above all four key exponential moving averages and the long-term trend is intact-but the MACD histogram is negative, on-balance volume is falling, and resistance is stacked so densely overhead that the next breakout is far from guaranteed. I'm not shorting this asset because the uptrend remains valid and price has not broken key support, but I'm also not buying at current levels because the risk-reward is poor: I would need price to clear $270.00 to feel confident, and that's only a 12% move from here with multiple resistance zones waiting to block it. Instead, I'm in cash and watching for either a clean break above $270.00 or a drop below $220.00 to give me a trade with better clarity and conviction.

My entry zone

$220.00 – $225.00 (bearish scenario) or $270.00 – $275.00 (bullish scenario)

My stop loss

$280.00 (if short); $210.00 (if long breakout occurs)

My target 1

$189.52: EMA 50 support

My target 2

$145.02: EMA 50 confirmed

My target 3

$110.88: EMA 100 support

Position

When I Would Exit

I would exit or flip my position instantly if Quant price closes above $270.00 on a daily candle with volume supporting the move, because that would prove that the resistance wall has been breached and the uptrend is accelerating higher. In that scenario, I would reverse from neutral to long and target a move toward $327.29 or the swing high at $371.85. Conversely, if Quant price closes below $220.00 on elevated volume, my thesis would be invalidated and I would take that as a signal that distribution is complete and a deeper correction is underway, at which point I would consider a short entry targeting the EMA 50 at $145.02. Is Quant a good long-term investment? The answer depends entirely on whether price can clear the overhead resistance-if it cannot, then the risk of a prolonged consolidation or pullback becomes the dominant narrative.
