These 4 Altcoins You Should HOLD Forever!

The memecoin hype is dying. Trading on pump dot fun is down by 94%. I don’t regret this at all, if you follow the channel, you know that I was never a fan of memecoins. I’m all for legacy and utility coins. In other words, altcoins with good fundamentals.

So, it’s time to focus on exactly that again, altcoins with good fundamentals. That’s why I have four altcoins at the ready for you. Let’s take a closer look.

Ripple ($XRP)

Today I start with Ripple and its $XRP token as the first in my list of altcoins. Brad Garlinghouse, Ripple’s CEO, was recently at the White House Crypto Summit. It was the first time that the White House organized such an event. So, in other words, that was a big deal. 

But Ripple is not only having success in the US. It also just received good news from the UAE. $XRP got the green light for crypto payments and services in the UAE. 

Another big item is a new SEC proposal. It talks about XRP being a Strategic Financial Asset for the US. On page 4, there’s also a mention that XRP-based liquidity could replace Swift. That would involve $1.5 trillion. Global payments would shift to Ripple. If this materialized, this would be massive news. 

This would give the $XRP price a massive push forward. But hold your horses, for the time being, it’s only a proposal. However, who would have thought that, coming from the SEC? On this note, the long-lasting SEC lawsuit against Ripple is also coming to an end.

Quant Network ($QNT)

Quant Network ($QNT) is a blockchain whose goal is to support interoperability. For this, it uses the Overledger operating system. It does this for both public and private chains. Overledger can connect all the various chains.

For example, Quant offers mDapps. These allow Dapps to operate on various chains at the same time. So, these mDapps accommodate interoperability. So, Quant offers the infrastructure and tech to devs, so they can build these mDapps.

Quant also offers various layers. For example, layers for transactions, messaging, or filtering and ordering. The application layer controls all other layers. So, Quant caters to institutions, like banks or investment firms. But also, to enterprises. From multinationals to small companies. Quant offers a gateway to digital markets for them. 

It should come as no surprise that Quant also jumped into the hot RWA sector. Quant has no intention of missing out on this. In case you missed it, from its current market cap of $31 billion, the projected market for RWA in 2030 is up to $30 trillion. That’s a 1000x.

Cardano ($ADA)

Cardano ($ADA) is another legacy coin that should be on today’s list. However, Charles Hoskinson didn’t receive an invitation to the White House Crypto Summit. That came as a surprise to everyone, not at least to himself. 

Nonetheless, Hoskinson is not the person to stand still. He recently met with leaders from other countries. This included Japan’s former Minister of Digital Transformation, Takuya Hirai. He’s always on the lookout to discuss Cardano’s role in Web3 and blockchain innovation. If it’s not with this one, it will be with another one.

Cardano has big things going for it. For example,

• An imminent Midnight launch. This adds privacy to Cardano. Its token will have no ICO, no pre-sale, no VC, just a broad distribution to 135M people. This could be big.
  

Cardano is also mentioned in the new SEC proposal. It’s part of the Bitcoin reserve statement and crypto strategy. 

So, Hoskinson and Cardano manage to stay in the spotlight for all the right reasons.

Hedera ($HBAR)

With Hedera ($HBAR) we have a different set-up at our hands. It’s not really a blockchain. Instead, it uses a hashgraph. So, this is still distributed ledger tech, like a blockchain. An interesting fact is that Hedera actually patented their hashgraph technology.

Hedera is active in various sectors. These include DeFi, RWA, payments, NFTs, AI, or decentralized identity. It’s a ‘Made in USA’ coin, and it ranks 18th measured by market cap. 

Earlier this month, Grayscale filed for a Hedera ETF. This allows investors to buy and sell $HBAR like a stock on the exchange. This also includes retail, like you and me. 

Hedera also partnered with Swift, the global payment system. Swift is testing Hedera’s integration this year. Swift handles $150 trillion per year. This is big news for Swift. However, don’t forget the SEC proposal, in which they mentioned using Ripple instead of Swift.
