Robinhood Expands Prediction Markets With Crypto.com and OG.com Ahead of NFL Season

Robinhood is expanding its prediction-markets business through partnerships with Crypto.com and OG.com as NFL contracts and election markets drive growing demand.

Robinhood expands prediction markets through Crypto.com

Robinhood is expanding its prediction-markets business through new partnerships with Crypto.com and OG.com, adding more venues and contracts as the 2026 NFL season gets underway.

Under the strategic agreements, Robinhood will route a selection of event contracts to OG.com while also taking equity stakes in both Crypto.com and OG.com. The initial partnership will focus on football contracts, with the NFL season beginning Wednesday.

The equity investments will be priced in line with Citadel Securities’ recent investment in Crypto.com Group at a $20 billion valuation, according to the companies.

Robinhood Adds More Prediction Market Venues

The new partnerships are designed to give Robinhood access to a broader network of venues for its event contracts.

“Routing event contracts to multiple venues helps create a stronger, more diverse and resilient marketplace,” said JB Mackenzie, Robinhood’s vice president and general manager of Futures and Prediction Markets.

Robinhood will continue routing contracts to existing partners including Kalshi, ForecastEX and Rothera, meaning customers will have access to contracts across multiple prediction-market venues.

The company said its offering will also expand this NFL season to include game outcomes, player contracts and custom combinations.

The move comes as prediction markets become an increasingly important part of Robinhood’s broader financial platform.

Prediction Markets Are Becoming a Major Revenue Driver

Robinhood's prediction-markets business has grown rapidly in 2026.

The company said its prediction markets generated record revenue and trading volume during the first eight months of the year.

In the second quarter alone, customers traded 13.6 billion event contracts, including approximately 5 billion contracts during the World Cup.

That activity generated around $156 million in revenue, representing a 50% increase from the previous quarter.

The performance is particularly significant because it marked the first quarter in which Robinhood's prediction-markets business generated more revenue than its crypto business.

That shift shows how quickly event contracts have moved from a niche offering toward a meaningful part of Robinhood's financial ecosystem.

Robinhood Prepares for Football and Elections

The NFL will provide Robinhood with another major opportunity to expand prediction-market activity.

The company plans to offer a wider selection of football-related contracts, allowing users to speculate on game outcomes, individual player performance and combinations of events.

Robinhood is also preparing for another major prediction-market category: elections.

The company plans to launch a dedicated election hub featuring interactive heat maps that will allow users to track candidate performance.

After polls close, the hub will also display the number of votes counted and the percentage of expected votes represented by those results.

With football and elections arriving during the same period, Robinhood is positioning prediction markets as a year-round product rather than one tied to a single sporting event.

Crypto.com and OG.com Partnerships Could Strengthen the Platform

The partnerships with Crypto.com and OG.com give Robinhood additional infrastructure as demand for event contracts grows.

Rather than relying on a single venue, Robinhood will be able to route contracts across several marketplaces. The company says this can help create a more diverse and resilient market for customers.

The strategy also deepens Robinhood's relationships with companies operating across the broader crypto and digital-asset ecosystem.

Robinhood has increasingly expanded beyond its traditional brokerage model, adding crypto, prediction markets and other products to its platform.

Its prediction market growth suggests that event contracts could become one of the company's most important newer businesses.

Robinhood's Prediction-Market Strategy Is Changing

The latest partnerships show how quickly Robinhood's prediction-market strategy is evolving.

The company entered the market as prediction contracts gained mainstream attention, but the business has now reached a scale where it is generating significant revenue and trading activity.

The 13.6 billion contracts traded in the second quarter also demonstrate the potential size of the market when major sporting events are available.

The NFL season could provide another major source of activity, while the upcoming election cycle gives Robinhood another category capable of driving demand.

At the same time, expanding the number of venues available through its platform could help Robinhood support higher volumes without relying entirely on one market operator.

What This Means for Robinhood

Robinhood's latest move highlights a broader transformation of its business.

Crypto remains an important part of the platform, but prediction markets are increasingly competing with it for users and revenue.

The fact that prediction markets generated more revenue than Robinhood's crypto business for the first time in the second quarter makes the expansion particularly notable.

With new partnerships, more football contracts and a dedicated election hub, Robinhood is now betting that prediction markets can become a core part of its financial platform.

If trading activity continues to grow through the NFL season and upcoming elections, the business could become an increasingly important contributor to Robinhood's overall revenue.
