RWA Crypto Bull Run ANYTIME, ONDO Finance Review & Analysis

Wall Street 2.0 is coming! The RWA sector is currently one of the hottest crypto sectors. I’ve been saying this for quite a few months now. This statement hasn’t changed. One of the top stars in this sector is Ondo Finance. One that has given an ROI of 38x since January 2024. Yesterday, Ondo had its first-ever Ondo Summit. Where else but in NYC. Hence, Wall Street 2.0 is coming! Brought to you by Ondo Finance. 

Donald Trump Jr was one of the speakers yesterday. President Trump’s World Liberty Financial also bought more $ONDO. And Ondo Finance also launched its own Layer 1. So, today I will take a closer look at Ondo Finance and three RWA gems.

What Is Ondo Finance ($ONDO)?

Ondo Finance ($ONDO) is one of the hottest and leading RWA projects in town. It’s currently in the spotlight for various reasons. For example,

• Binance listing rumors are strong. A Binance listing always means a boost for a token. These rumors are coming on strong with the Ondo Summit in NYC. This summit took place yesterday, 6th February. One of the surprise speakers was Donald Trump Jr.<

• President Trump’s WLFI already invested $250.000 in $ONDO. Yesterday, it added another $4.7 million worth of $ONDO. That brings their total $ONDO investment to $5 million.
  

Ondo Finance launched its own Layer 1 chain. This chain caters to institutional-grade real-world assets. Ondo only works with regulated assets. However, it felt that regular chains lacked the necessary features for their regulated assets. It’s a mix of public and permissioned blockchains.

Ondo works together with BlackRock’s BUIDL fund. Circle’s $USDC is also part of this fund. However, this is aimed at institutions. BUIDL requires a minimum investment of $5 million. However, using Ondo’s $OUSG stablecoin, the minimal investment is only $100,000. $OUSG stands for Ondo Short-Term US Government Treasuries. So, these are tokenized US treasuries.

Ondo introduced their Global Markets platform. This is an RWA tokenization platform that gives onchain access to stocks, bonds, and ETFs. However, it’s not available in the US.

Their $OUSG stablecoin is now available on the XRP Ledger. This gives institutional investors on XRPL access to a tokenized high-quality US Treasuries fund. It requires KYC/AML. However, this allows them access to a secure, compliant, yield-earning asset.

So, Ondo also caters to retail and institutions with their $USDY stablecoin. It advertises this as ‘The world’s leading permissionless yield coin’. However, $USDY is not available in the US.

The Future for Ondo Finance

So, Ondo Finance has everything to become the RWA superstar. Only look at who is already taking part in Ondo’s ecosystem. For example, service providers like,

• BlackRock
• Morgan Stanley
• Chainlink 
• Pyth
• Supra
  

And other partners like

• Franklin Templeton
• Wisdom Tree
• ABN Amro
• PayPal
• AON and more.

In total, Ondo already has 96 partners. Some of these are high profile partners in their field. This is only the beginning for Ondo. Their platform and the $ONDO token should take off anytime now. Some even expect a $30 $ONDO price. So, now let’s also look at three RWA gems that my team and I found.

Polytrade ($TRADE)

Polytrade ($(TRADE) boasts the largest RWA marketplace. It brings together buyers, sellers, insurers, and investors. On this marketplace, they can trade in tokenized assets. For example, in real estate, collectibles, treasuries, equities, bonds, and more. One of their upcoming options is car loans. 

Polytrade aims for retail, but their Polytrade V2 aims at institutions. There’s also a ‘Loyalty Program’. You can earn XP by trading or being active on social media for Polytrade. 

The current $TRADE price is a great entry at 35 cents. With a $14 million market cap, there’s plenty of room for growth.

Plume ($PLUME)

Plume saw its $PLUME token launch only a few weeks ago, on 22nd of January. However, it already has a market cap of $221 million. 2 billion of its 10 billion tokens circulate. Plume focuses, among others, on tokenized real estate, commodities, and revenue streams. 

You can trade or finance these assets or use them as collateral. That introduces real-life DeFi use cases to Plume. It caters to both retail and institutions. Plume bridges TradFi with Web3 by being compliant, transparent, and interoperable. It already offers $4.5 billion in assets to be tokenized.

TrueFi ($TRU)

TrueFi ($TRU) brings the debt infrastructure on-chain. It offers uncollateralized lending. It can offer this because TrueFi uses on-chain credit scores to assess borrowers.  

You can also lend to independently managed vaults. One of its backers is Andreessen Horowitz. TrueFi has already been around since January 2021. One of its vaults offers, for example, short-term U.S. Treasury Bill yields. However, this is only available to non-US investors.

Its $TRU price is 4 cents, and all tokens circulate. With a $52 million market cap, there’s plenty of growth potential here. If you like RWA, feel free to discuss this in our Discord and X channels.
