Top 5 RWA Altcoins – Institutions are VERY Bullish on These

If Larry Fink, BlackRock’s CEO, is supportive of a crypto sector, you know you have a winner. This sector is RWA, a market currently worth $37 billion. For 2025, the market prediction is to reach $50 billion. However, by 2030 this market should be around $30 trillion.

So, if you’re in it for the long run, RWA is the place to be. That’s why today I picked five top RWA projects that should do well. In 2025 and beyond. So, let’s take a look.

Mantra ($OM)

Mantra ($OM) is currently leading the RWA charts. That’s behind Chainlink, which provides the RWA infrastructure. Mantra targets both institutions and retail. It has its own, purpose-built Layer 1 chain. 

Mantra is part of the Cosmos ecosystem. To make it interesting, $OM started out as an ERC-20 token. However, there’s now a one-way bridge that lets you bridge your ERC-20 $OM tokens to Mantra’s mainnet. Here, you receive native $OM.

Here you can stake or swap any variation between Ondo’s $USDY, $OSMO, $ATOM, $USDC, and, of course, $OM. 

However, before you can trade on Mantra, you need to KYC or KYB. This allows you to trade in regulated assets. That’s because Mantra is compliant. It connects TradFi with DeFi. Traditional banking clients & products can interact with crypto and fiat. That’s both on-chain and off-chain.

The current $OM price is $7.30 with a $7.1 billion market cap. $OM has an infinite supply, so not so great tokenomics. The total supply is 1.8 billion tokens and 927 million circulate.

Clearpool ($CPOOL)

Clearpool ($CPOOL) offers a decentralized credit marketplace. It launched in 2022 on Ethereum mainnet. However, it’s now available on seven other chains. Clearpool already has $747 loans on its platform, with a TVL of $76 million. 

Recently it launched the Ozean Layer 2 chain. This chain offers Real-World Asset (RWA) yield, and it’s built on Optimism. Ozean is also compliant, like most RWA projects and platforms.

The current $CPOOL token price is 22 1/5 cents with a $172 million market cap. Out of 1 billion tokens already 729 million tokens circulate. So, not that many token unlocks are coming our way. If we look at the $2.55 ATH, $CPOOL has lots of upside potential. Getting to its ATH is already an 11x.

Ondo Finance ($ONDO)

Ondo Finance ($ONDO) ranks straight behind Mantra on the RWA list. And my oh my, has Ondo been pumping out some great news recently? It has all the makings of a potential RWA leader.

It started with the Ondo Summit, earlier this month in NYC. Ondo announced its Global Markets platform. This gives you access to tokenized stocks, bonds, and ETFs. Furthermore, it also announced its very own Layer 1 chain, the Ondo chain. 

Ondo targets both the institutional and retail markets. It does this with its two stablecoins, $USDY and $OUSG. For more background on Ondo and Mantra, watch my recent comparison video of the two.

Ondo also announced a strategic partnership with Trump’s DeFi platform, WLFI. It’s worth mentioning that WLFI already bought $5 million worth of $ONDO. 

Remember Larry Fink and BlackRock. Well, Ondo works together with BlackRock’s BUIDL fund. Ondo was also invited to a discussion round by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). 

The current $ONDO price is $1.19 with a $3.75 billion market cap. Out of the 10 billion $ONDO tokens, 3.15 million circulate.

Plume Network ($PLUME)

The Plume Network ($PLUME) has been around since 2023. However, their mainnet and token didn’t launch until January this year. Plume introduced the word RWAFi to the world. It already offers various ecosystem projects. For example, 

• Credbull for private credit.
• Paxos for infrastructure.
• Or Nest for institutional-grade yield for RWAs.

It also offers a prediction market, named Cultured. You can predict the future prices of various assets. For instance, in forex, in equities, or cryptocurrencies. For this, it relies on oracles, these connect it with the real-world. So, its Nexus data highway, works together with oracles like Supra, SEDA, or Stork. This is a video about Cultured.

The current $PLUME price is 12 1/2 cents with a market cap of $250 million. Out of the 10 billion $PLUME tokens, 2 billion circulate. Token unlocks will start about a year from now.

Polytrade ($TRADE)

Polytrade ($TRADE) offers a marketplace where you can buy or trade all kinds of RWAs. For example, credit, stocks, real estate, and more. The marketplace includes a loyalty portal where you can earn rewards. 

Polytrade also offers a V2.0. This introduced institutional technology, besides the existing marketplace. It recently also introduced ‘dibs’. That’s the first-ever decentralized options-style market for tokenized RWAs and tokens.

The current $TRADE price is 40 cents. This token has the highest growth potential, due to its small market cap. That’s currently at only $16.5 million. It has 100 million $TRADE tokens and out of these, 41 million circulate. Its ATH was $3. From its current price, that’s a 7.5x. Is $TRADE one of the RWA projects that can do a 50x? That would give it a $20 price and an $8 billion market cap.
