Online blockchain gaming and gamifying keeps growing. The entrance requirements ease up. We show various free-to-play games that are P2E gaming projects. One game even gives you a free battleship to start with. How does that sound for ‘starters’?

# 1: Affyn

Affyn is going strong with its land sales in the play-and-earn NEXUS World metaverse. So, if you want to catch up on Affyn and the NEXUS World metaverse, take a look at our dedicated October video. 

To buy land in the NEXUS World metaverse, you first need to buy flags. The first wave of 48,482 flags went on sale in early October and is still going strong. These flags are not NFTs, and you can’t trade them. However, during December, you can start claiming land with these flags. NEXUS World starts to release cities in waves. This land actually comes in the form of NFTs and you can trade these. These are unique NFTs, linked to a real-world geolocation.

There are four different Lands:

• Common is 1 flag.
• Rare is 3 flags.
• Epic is 9 flags.
• Mythical is 27 flags.

If you own one of their 400 initial NFTs of the Generation-Zero Buddies, you get an Epic land airdropped. Their floor price is currently 4.6 ETH. Keep in mind that if you want to buy flags, you need to complete a KYC procedure, which can take up to 5 business days.

# 2 Apeiron

Apeiron is a P2E game, and you are one of the Gods. You’re a newborn God, and you’re in control of a planet. It goes without saying that these planets are unique NFTs. Recently, we talked about Apeiron already. Check the video.

This game is already for six years in development. They aim to modernize God games. At the same time, the team gears it up for Web3 and metaverse use. You take on the role of an all-powerful God. You rule over sim worshipers. They are, in general, simple, for example like the Doods. You can shape your own planet, and the rise and fall of civilizations is in your hands. Help the Doodles with their daily life problems. However, you can also create and destroy.

They have a tri-token economy:

1. Apeiros, the game’s governance tokens. You can stake your claim in the universe with this token.
2. Anima, the play-to-earn tokens.
3. Ringularity (RNGU) this focuses on activities that are Guild-based. It encourages social gameplay.

Rather than a specific game, Zone is more like a gaming platform. It’s a GameFi ecosystem, built on Algorand. Algorand is currently one of the main sponsors of the World Cup football in Qatar. They offer both free-to-play and P2E. Besides on-chain gaming challenges, they also offer Game Farms. These are the first-of-a-kind GameFi primitives. You can farm tokens and other rewards by playing games on the Zone platform for free.

Currently, they have a big GameFi tournament going on with $150k in prizes. So, get a Game Pass and join the PlayFi League. You can choose between 8 different games. For example,

Playing in the League is completely free. You can claim your Zone Game Pass NFT to enter on the platform. On the other hand, the ZONE token went through changes. Currently, it has limited utility. With ZONE you can:

• Stake it to earn ZONE and other tokens.
• Enter special game pools with massive rewards in ZONE.

Plenty of options with Zone. The best way forward is to get involved. And this brings us to #4 Zooracers.

# 4: Zooracers

The Zooracers game is part of the Zoo One ecosystem that runs on both Wanchain and Avalanche. It’s a 3D kart battle-arena style game. You can use your ZOONFT here. It’s a side project in the Zoo ecosystem by YGGDRAZIL. The game is fun and addictive. There’s some cartoonesque landscape thrown in for good measure. 

So, we have a multichain battle karts game on our hands. I would say, let’s go and have some fun. You play against other players on the map. There’s a leaderboard, and you can customize your cart and a controllable animal. 

The plan is to collect as many coins as possible. These are randomly placed on the map. Now you battle opponents or hide or run away from them when you meet them. However, if you beat your opponents, you get their loot, which is their coins. For the cross-chain games, they use the Wanchain bridge. This connects Wanchain to Avalanche and you can play with players on a different chain. That’s pretty cool.

Are you up for a game of kart? And so, here we are at our last of the P2E Gaming Projects, Spark Era.

# 5: Spark Era

Spark Era is a self-developed Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game (MMORPG). They are part of the Fireworks Games ecosystem. This is a decentralized self-development and release platform of blockchain games. You can join this game for free and explore this ever-expanding universe.

It’s not only free-to-play and play-to-earn. Once you connect your wallet, you get a free starship and can start the game. So, how do you like that? Now you can start to explore, trade, mine, and battle. This should allow you to get more game assets. So, you can:

• Pilot more than 1,000 kind of ships.
• Explore over 20,000 galaxies.
• Find over 100 million planets. 

Once you enter the game, you will be randomly placed in one of the four camps. 

1. Confederation of Earth.
2. Empire of Amda.
3. Asman Zerg.
4. Or Eternal Protoss.

You can still decide whether you join a guild or start the journey with a team of your friends.

Now you can start exploring, for example, new planets or identifying enemies. There are also 500,000 planets that you can colonize and receive economic benefits from.
