Uniswap (UNI) price has surged more than 45% in a week as trading volume and network activity accelerate. Can UNI break $6.40 and reach $10 this month?

Uniswap (UNI) price has extended its rally for a third consecutive day, bringing the token back toward its yearly highs as trading activity across the ecosystem accelerates.
UNI has surged more than 45% over the past week, climbing from a consolidation zone around $4.50 to approximately $6.27. Trading volume has also expanded sharply, rising above $1 billion from levels below $400 million.
The latest move comes as activity on Robinhood Chain continues to accelerate. The network recently recorded approximately $874.8 million in daily DEX volume, with Uniswap handling the majority of trading activity across its V2, V3 and V4 deployments.
With UNI now testing a major technical resistance zone, the key question is whether stronger network activity and improving market structure can push the Uniswap price toward $10 this month.
The latest UNI rally is being supported by a combination of stronger protocol activity, increasing trading volume and renewed interest in Uniswap's role within Robinhood Chain.
Uniswap recently processed more than 7 million swaps in a single day, highlighting a significant increase in activity across the protocol.
Higher swap activity matters because Uniswap's business model is directly connected to trading volume. More transactions can translate into greater fee generation and strengthen the fundamental case for continued network growth.
Robinhood Chain has emerged as an important catalyst for Uniswap.
Uniswap serves as a major liquidity layer on the network, with its V2, V3 and V4 deployments supporting a growing amount of trading activity. Earlier this month, Standard Chartered highlighted Uniswap's role in providing much of the liquidity supporting Robinhood Chain's rapid TVL growth.
The latest surge in DEX activity provides another indication that this relationship is becoming increasingly important for UNI.

The latest activity on Robinhood Chain has been particularly significant for Uniswap.
Uniswap V3 and V4 together accounted for more than $1.17 billion in trading activity, according to the figures behind the latest rally.
That gives Uniswap exposure to one of the fastest growing onchain trading ecosystems while strengthening the argument that Robinhood Chain could become an important source of future protocol activity.

Rising trading volume is also important because Uniswap has increasingly focused on connecting protocol activity with UNI's value proposition.
The protocol's fee switch on Robinhood Chain went live in July, creating a direct link between activity on the network and Uniswap's fee-generation model. Uniswap was subsequently among Robinhood Chain's largest application revenue contributors.
If trading activity continues increasing, the potential for higher protocol fees could provide another fundamental catalyst for UNI.
The Robinhood Chain opportunity is not limited to conventional crypto trading.
The network is designed around tokenized financial assets alongside crypto assets, creating another potential source of liquidity demand for Uniswap.
This is particularly relevant because Uniswap has already been expanding its infrastructure for tokenized and permissioned assets. If tokenized stocks and other real-world assets gain traction on Robinhood Chain, Uniswap could benefit as one of the network's primary liquidity venues.
UNI has staged a strong recovery from its local lows near $2.50, forming what appears to be a broad rounded bottom structure.
The latest rally has pushed the Uniswap price to around $6.27, bringing it directly toward the neckline of the recovery pattern near $6.30 - $6.40.

A decisive daily close above this resistance could confirm a breakout from the structure and shift the broader trend further in favor of the bulls.
The technical indicators are also showing improving momentum.
The On-Balance Volume (OBV) has recovered sharply alongside price, suggesting that buying pressure is strengthening. At the same time, open interest has climbed toward approximately $12.35 million, its highest level in the current move.
That combination suggests traders are positioning ahead of a potential breakout.
However, rising open interest also means volatility could increase if UNI fails to clear resistance. A rejection near $6.30 - $6.40 could trigger profit-taking and send the token back toward lower support levels.
For now, the price is sitting at a decisive technical level.
The Uniswap price is approaching a major breakout zone after gaining more than 45% in a week.
If UNI decisively breaks above the $6.40 resistance, the next major target could be around $8.63. A sustained move through that level would bring the psychological $10 mark into focus.
The technical structure therefore presents a clear path:
$6.30 - $6.40 breakout → $8.63 → $10.15
Reaching $10.15 from approximately $6.27 would require a further gain of roughly 62%, making the target achievable only if the current momentum continues and buying pressure remains strong.
The biggest confirmation would be a daily close above the current resistance followed by a successful retest of the breakout zone as support.
On the other hand, failure to clear $6.30 - $6.40 could invalidate the immediate bullish setup and lead to a correction.
Uniswap enters this phase of the rally with stronger fundamentals than it had during its earlier consolidation.
Record swap activity, rising DEX volume on Robinhood Chain, increasing fee generation and growing interest in tokenized assets are providing multiple catalysts for the UNI price.
The technical picture is also improving, with OBV and open interest rising alongside price.
However, $6.30 - $6.40 remains the key hurdle.
If bulls turn this resistance into support, UNI could target $8.63 before eventually testing $10.15. Until that breakout occurs, the $10 target remains a bullish scenario rather than a confirmed price path.
For now, Uniswap bulls have one level to conquer: $6.40.
