XRP Ledger Activity Surges 187% as Network Data Signals Stronger Demand

XRP Ledger transactions per ledger surged 187.9%, while XRP holds above $1.35 after its latest breakout.

XRP Ledger activity is showing a sharp shift as transactions processed per ledger jumped 187.9%, adding another bullish signal to XRP’s recent price recovery.

The increase comes as XRP holds above a key long-term technical level following its rally from around $1.00 to as high as $1.70.

XRP Ledger Activity Sends Mixed Signals

Transactions per ledger reached 189.29, making it the network metric with the largest increase. Payments also rose 19.3% to roughly 568,100, suggesting continued demand for XRP Ledger transactions.

However, the broader data is mixed. Total transactions fell 26.4% to about 994,000, while successful transactions declined 16.3% to roughly 914,100.

The number of closed ledgers dropped sharply by 74.4% to approximately 5,300. That decline helps explain the surge in transactions per ledger: when fewer ledgers close while transaction activity remains substantial, each ledger can contain significantly more transactions.

Payment value also fell 82.2% to around 70.8 million XRP, indicating that the network processed more payments at a much lower average value.

XRP Holds Key Support After Rally

Despite the mixed network statistics, XRP’s price structure remains stronger than it was earlier this month.

XRP is trading around $1.41 after reaching approximately $1.70 during its recent breakout. More importantly, the token remains above its long-term moving average near $1.35.

Momentum has also cooled. XRP’s RSI has fallen to around 68 after previously reaching extremely overbought levels, potentially giving the market more room to stabilize.

This setup makes the $1.35–$1.40 region the key support zone to watch. Holding it could preserve XRP’s broader breakout structure and leave the door open for another move toward $1.50–$1.70.

The latest XRPL data therefore tells a more nuanced story: transaction density and payment counts are rising, but overall network activity and payment value remain uneven. For XRP, maintaining its new support structure could be more important than any single network metric.
