Binance Unveils Soft Staking with Daily Rewards

Binance introduces Soft Staking where you can earn daily rewards on your assets without locking it or giving up access.

Binance Unveils Soft Staking with Daily Rewards

Binance has launched Soft Staking, a new feature that pays you daily rewards on eligible tokens, all while keeping your assets accessible. Let’s break it down.

If you’ve ever wanted to earn staking rewards without locking up your crypto, Binance made that a whole lot easier.

What is Soft Staking?

Soft Staking is a Binance feature that enables you to earn rewards by taking a few simple steps. Typically, staking means locking up your crypto for days or weeks—but with Soft Staking, your tokens remain in your Spot Wallet, available for trade or withdrawal at any time.

Once you turn it on with a single click, Binance automatically includes your eligible tokens in its pool. You start earning rewards daily, and you don’t have to do anything else. No transfers, lock-ups, or waiting. It’s like earning interest on idle crypto while still being able to use it whenever you want.

How does it work?

You get your rewards based on the daily average balance of supported tokens in your Spot Wallet. The higher your balance (within limits), the more you earn. Keep in mind that there’s a minimum holding requirement to qualify for rewards and a cap on how much you will earn—anything beyond that doesn’t count toward payouts. When you want to check your earnings, you can also use the Soft Staking page or look at your Staking History.

What tokens does it support?

At launch, it supports major coins like BNB, SOL, ADA, SUI, TON, NEAR, POL, ALGO, S, and AXS. Binance may add more options in the future, but for now, those are your available choices.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t a significant downside, but there are a few things to be aware of. APYs (annual percentage yields) change daily, and rewards only apply within the eligible token range. Additionally, you’re still relying on Binance as a centralized platform, so platform risk is a factor, like with any custodial service.

Conclusion

Binance’s Soft Staking is a smart and low-effort way to earn cryptocurrency rewards. You don’t have to lock anything up, and you keep complete control over your assets. For anyone dipping their toes into it or seeking passive yield, this might be one of the easiest ways to get started. You only need to activate it, and earn—staking has never felt this flexible.
