Bitcoin spot ETF inflows led by BlackRock’s IBIT on October 28

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $137.33 million in net inflows on October 28, extending their positive-flow streak to three consecutive trading sessions. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounted for nearly all the new capital, while Bitwise’s Bitcoin ETF (BITB) recorded a smaller inflow.

According to SoSoValue data reported on October 29, the funds attracted $137.33 million in net inflows during Wednesday’s U.S. trading session. The latest result followed $175.99 million in inflows on October 27 and approximately $110.34 million on October 26.

The latest session brings the three-day inflow total to approximately $423.66 million. However, the daily inflow declined from the previous session, showing that positive flows have continued even as the pace of capital entering the funds fluctuated.

BlackRock’s IBIT leads Bitcoin ETF inflows

BlackRock’s IBIT recorded the largest net inflow on October 28, attracting $136.01 million. The fund’s cumulative historical net inflows reached $66.53 billion, according to the reported figures.

Bitwise’s BITB ranked second, recording $1.32 million in daily net inflows. Its cumulative historical net inflows stood at $2.03 billion.

The two funds accounted for the entire reported net inflow of $137.33 million. IBIT’s contribution represented almost 99% of the daily total, highlighting how heavily the latest positive session depended on BlackRock’s product.

The figures also follow another session in which IBIT led the market. In our previous report on October 28, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $175.99 million on October 27, with IBIT contributing $151.46 million and Fidelity’s FBTC adding $24.54 million.

Bitcoin ETF assets reach $104.88 billion

The total net asset value of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $104.88 billion as of the latest reporting snapshot. This represented approximately 6.41% of Bitcoin’s total market capitalization.

Cumulative historical net inflows across the funds reached $57.61 billion. This figure measures the net capital entering the ETF products over time, while total net assets reflect the current market value of their holdings.

The two measures can move differently. ETF net assets may rise or fall with Bitcoin’s price, even when investors are not adding or withdrawing an equivalent amount of capital. Daily net flows provide a more direct indication of whether money entered or left the funds during a particular session.

The latest asset figures also mark an increase from the $103.94 billion in total net assets reported for October 27. Both changes in Bitcoin’s market value and investor flows can affect this total.

Bitcoin ETF inflows recover after recent withdrawals

The three-day inflow streak follows a period of significant withdrawals from Bitcoin investment products. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $635.49 million on October 22 and another $137.94 million on October 23, according to previously reported SoSoValue figures.

The subsequent return to positive Bitcoin ETF flows indicates that net demand recovered over the latest three sessions. However, the figures alone do not establish whether the recovery will continue or translate into sustained buying pressure in the broader Bitcoin market.

What to watch next

Investors will be watching whether U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs maintain positive net flows in the coming sessions and whether inflows broaden beyond IBIT and BITB.

The latest figures show that Bitcoin ETFs have attracted approximately $423.66 million over three consecutive trading days. IBIT remains the dominant contributor, while total ETF net assets have reached $104.88 billion.

Further sessions of positive flows would provide additional evidence of sustained demand. For now, the data confirms a three-day inflow streak, but ETF activity remains only one indicator of broader investor sentiment toward Bitcoin.
