Cardano Surges 12% as ADA Holders Refuse to Sell
Cardano (ADA) is showing signs of life again
By Victor

After suffering a 24% drop in June, the token surged 12% in the last 24 hours, bringing fresh hope to investors. This rebound appears to be more than just a short-term reaction. It’s supported by a steady group of long-term holders (LTHs) who are choosing to hold rather than sell. This provides much-needed price stability.
This shift in sentiment comes at a key moment. With ADA now trading at $0.60, the token faces a critical test. Holding this level as support could open the door for Cardano to a move toward $0.66. Failing to do so may lead to a short period of sideways trading.
Holders Hold the Line
The recent price spike isn’t happening in a vacuum. Blockchain data shows that LTHs are returning to an accumulation mindset. After a brief period of selling, these veteran holders are now back to HODLing. According to Mean Coin Age (MCA) data, the average age of ADA held in wallets is rising again. This signal renewed confidence in the asset’s long-term value.
This is a big deal. LTHs control a large portion of Cardano’s circulating supply. When they hold instead of sell, it helps keep downward pressure off the price. At the same time, short-term holders (STHs) are also holding firm, as current market conditions do not offer them enough profit to cash out.
The MVRV Long/Short Difference, which measures the unrealized profit or loss of holders, currently sits at neutral. This suggests that neither LTHs nor STHs are in a position to sell for profit, which naturally lowers the chances of a selloff.
More About ADA
Cardano’s accessibility just took another step forward as $ADA is now live for U.S. users on Bitstamp through Robinhood. This marks another major fiat on-ramp for the cryptocurrency, making it easier for everyday investors to buy and trade ADA with U.S. dollars.
As more platforms support Cardano, its reach continues to expand, opening the door for wider adoption and a more diverse investor base.
