The collaborative efforts by Ripple foundation have finally paid off, as XRP has surpassed Bitcoin and Ethereum in terms of transaction volume.

Ripple has been on the receiving end of lots of talks which have created fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD). Ripple (XRP) contributes to 5.7 percent of the entire cryptocurrency market and XRP dropped from its key position of $0.38 to $0.33 where it is currently trading.

In terms of daily transactions, XRP recently touched its one-year high. According to BitInfo Charts, XRP constituted to 49.1 percent (1,112,238) of the total crypto transactions, Ethereum was at second place with 25.2 percent (570,938), and Bitcoin came in third with about 13.6 percent (306,328) transactions.

During this peak for XRP, most transaction requests were made and received by HitBTC. The total volume traded for the day was about three hundred and forty-one million dollars, HitBTC contributed 38.2 percent in trading volume (via the trading pair XRP/USDT with 26.12% and XRP/BTC with a massive 73.87%).
