Block Stranding Goes Live on Solana with AI Stress Test

Block Stranding, an onchain multiplayer role-playing game, is now live on Solana

Block Stranding Goes Live on Solana with AI Stress Test

More than just another game launch, it marks a step forward. Developers are testing and scaling onchain worlds in new ways.

In partnership with infrastructure firm MagicBlock, Block Stranding recently completed a large multiplayer stress test on Solana. The test used AI agents to simulate player activity.

AI Agents, Stress Testing, and Scaling Solana

This event shows how far blockchain games have come and where they are heading. With real-time gameplay, AI-driven testing, and fully onchain mechanics, the project blends gaming innovation with the speed and low cost of the Solana network. One of the biggest challenges in blockchain gaming is scale. Running complex, multiplayer games onchain requires more than just clever code. It needs high-speed execution, low fees, and robust infrastructure. That is where Solana and MagicBlock come in.

In the recent test, Block Stranding used hundreds of AI agents to simulate real players exploring the game world, crafting items, and battling enemies. These agents behaved like human users, sending real transactions to the Solana blockchain. The goal was to see how the system would perform under pressure.

According to MagicBlock, the game processed over 200,000 transactions in a single session, showing the power of Solana’s parallel processing. Unlike traditional blockchains that handle transactions one at a time, Solana can run many at once, making it well-suited for fast-paced games like this.

AI testing is a growing trend in the space. In March, another Solana-based game, Ev.io, used a similar approach to simulate user behavior before a major update. These tests help developers catch bugs early and ensure smooth gameplay when real players join in.

The Rise of Onchain Games

Games like Block Stranding are part of a wider shift toward onchain experiences, where every item, move, or decision is recorded directly on the blockchain. This creates true digital ownership, better transparency, and new ways for players to earn and trade assets.

Onchain gaming is growing fast. According to DappRadar, blockchain games attracted over one million daily active wallets in early 2025. Players are not just looking for entertainment. They want control over their assets, provable scarcity, and the chance to be part of a living economy.
