At Korea Blockchain Week this week, Sui revealed many more details of what will be available on the first handheld Web3 gaming console, the SuiPlay0X1. And before we get into the specs, more than 1500 preorders came in during the first 24 hours after the announcement. The SuiPlay0X1 is in line to be the biggest consumer product launch EVER in Web3.

And it’s still early. Very early. You can preorder yours right here.  We know our gaming friends like to be early on new features, updates, game modes, and such. Since the device is still on schedule for an early 2025 launch, you can’t get earlier than this……

The SuiPlay0X1 is a Playtron device with its own OS that is device-agnostic.  It lets you play many games you already know and like. These include games from Epic Games and Steam across devices. Check out our earlier article for more on game and device compatibility. You will now have the freedom to take some of your favorite PC games with you in a handheld. Not only that, you will be able to add storage with the microSD slot giving you some ability to customize your experience within the Playtron game configuration.

As you will see from the specs (see tweet below for details), this device is powerful. It’s a mini-computer in your hand but with only one goal in mind, a great gaming experience. You get the Playtron OS with good storage and processing speed for a fast, fun experience playing your favorite games.

Sui-Powered Games Coming

Along with compatible games, you can expect Sui to jump in and create many games themselves and from their ecosystem specifically for SuiPlay0X1 users. One Sui-powered game is XOCIETY. It’s a Pop Shooter style game with

  • and great, immersive experiences where you aren’t just PvP but playing PvE, too.

Pre-Order Details and Payment Options

Enthusiasts can now pre-order their SuiPlay0X1, and interested buyers can secure their device by paying with cryptocurrency. Accepted payment methods include SUI, SOL, and ETH.
