CV Summit 2026 brings digital asset and AI leaders to Zurich

CV Summit 2026 will bring global financial and technology leaders to Zurich on September 29 - 30, with Franklin Templeton, Ripple, Binance, BlackRock, Standard Chartered and Deutsche Bank among the organizations attending.

The institutional-focused conference will take place at Kongresshaus Zurich and is expected to bring more than 3,000 senior executives together to discuss the future of digital assets, artificial intelligence and financial infrastructure.

Digital Assets and AI Take Center Stage

The summit will focus on four areas: financial infrastructure, tokenization of capital markets, AI and the intelligent economy, and wealth and asset management.

More than 200 speakers will participate across three stages, covering topics including tokenized securities, stablecoins, digital payments, custody and AI applications in financial markets.

The event comes as financial institutions increasingly move from blockchain experimentation toward practical applications such as tokenized assets, faster settlement and digital payment infrastructure.

Major Financial Institutions to Participate

The international speaker lineup includes Christopher Perkins of Franklin Templeton, Cassie Craddock of Ripple, Catherine Chen of Binance, Dirk Klee of BlackRock, Marianne Webber of Standard Chartered and Manuel Klein of Deutsche Bank.

Swiss institutions including UBS, PostFinance, SIX Group, Sygnum, Zürcher Kantonalbank and Luzerner Kantonalbank will also participate.

Franklin Templeton is the presenting partner, alongside more than 60 other organizations from Switzerland, Europe, the U.S. and the UAE.

Switzerland Strengthens Its Digital-Asset Position

The choice of Zurich reflects Switzerland's growing role in institutional blockchain adoption.

Crypto Valley has nearly 1,800 blockchain companies and accounts for around 47% of European blockchain funding, according to the CV VC ecosystem report.

Switzerland has also developed a significant banking presence in digital assets, with more than 50 banks active in the sector.

The country's AI ecosystem will be another major focus. CV Summit 2026 is an official event of the Road to Geneva program ahead of the Geneva AI Summit 2027.

Tokenization and Stablecoins in Focus

Tokenization will be one of the summit's most important themes as financial institutions explore blockchain-based versions of traditional securities, funds and other assets.

Stablecoins and digital payments will also feature prominently, particularly their potential role in institutional settlement and cross-border transactions.

This trend is already visible across the industry, with major financial and technology companies exploring tokenized equities, funds and blockchain-based settlement infrastructure.

Why CV Summit 2026 Matters

CV Summit 2026 provides a snapshot of how major financial institutions view the next phase of blockchain and AI adoption.

The emphasis is shifting away from cryptocurrency speculation toward tokenization, stablecoins, digital custody, payments, AI and financial-market infrastructure.

With major global banks, asset managers and technology companies gathering in Zurich, the September 29 - 30 event will offer an important look at where institutional digital assets and AI are heading next.
