A small coin perched high on one end of a seesaw while a giant coin weighs down the other end, on a flat green background.

Forta (FORT) is up 66.7% over seven days, and Codatta (XNY) is up 37.8%. Both are among the tokens on CoinGecko's artificial intelligence category page with weekly gains above 20% at noon on 26 October.

They rose while the biggest names in the category lost value. If you hold AI tokens, the gains this week sat in small caps, not the leaders. The cause of either move has not been confirmed yet.

Forta Price Chart October 26

Forta Has Nearly Doubled in a Month

FORT traded at $0.03276, up 7.0% in 24 hours and 97.6% over 30 days. About two-thirds of that monthly gain came in the last week.

Its 24-hour volume was $8,272,451 against a market cap of $21,346,782. That means roughly 39% of the token's market value changed hands in a day, a heavy turnover for a coin ranked #790 on the page. Its fully diluted value, the market cap if every token were in circulation, was $32,741,908.

Codatta's Week Beat Its Month

XNY traded at $0.006324, up 6.7% in 24 hours. Its seven-day gain of 37.8% is larger than its 30-day gain of 14.5%, so the token spent part of the month below where it started before this week's rebound.

Trading was thinner. XNY's 24-hour volume was $847,085 on a market cap of $22,991,547, ranked #760. Its fully diluted value was $63,235,975, almost three times its market cap, so most of its supply is not yet in circulation.

Neither token appeared in the page's 19 October reading.

The Category Leaders Moved the Other Way

Between the 19 October reading and noon on 26 October, the largest AI tokens shrank:

  • NEAR Protocol's market cap fell 10.1% to $5.85 billion, a loss of $656.8 million.
  • Bittensor (TAO) fell 7.8% to $2.82 billion, and its 24-hour volume dropped 48.8%.
  • Internet Computer (ICP) fell 9.8% to $1.44 billion.
  • Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) fell 7.4% to $402.8 million.
  • Render fell 5.6% to $877.1 million.

With no announcement tied to either rally, FORT's turnover is the number to watch. A rally carried by that much volume on a $21 million market cap can reverse as fast as it built.
