SOL trades near $94, on its $92.50 floor. A floor is a price where falls have stopped before.
The price fell about 7% on 29 October. That day it closed below its last dip of $95.82, from 15 September. The close ended a run in which each peak topped the last and each dip stopped higher.
SOL Closed Under Its Last Dip at $95.82
The $95.82 mark was the last point where the price dipped and then turned up by a clear margin. SOL set that low on 15 September.
Until 29 October, each peak sat above the one before, and each dip stopped above the last. That is the shape of a rise, and the close below $95.82 ended it.
The fall was about 1.5 times SOL's usual daily move. That is how far the price typically moves in a day.

Heavy Trading and Fund Outflows Came With the Fall
Trading that day ran at about twice its 20-day average. The 29 October close was also the lowest in 30 days. Over the past 30 days, SOL is down about 21%.
Data from on-chain tracker Lookonchain showed one wallet selling 1.02 million SOL in the five days to 29 October. Spot Solana exchange-traded funds were also reported to have had outflows on 27 and 28 October.
Against that, the price is now testing a floor at $92.50. This level was a ceiling until the price rose over it. A ceiling is a price where rises have stopped before.
The level has turned the price 6 times since mid February. It last turned the price on 11 May.
Where $92.50 and $97.30 Leave SOL
A daily close is the last price of the day.
A daily close below $92.50 would take the price under this floor. The next floor sits at $83.98, about 11% below.
A daily close above $97.30 would put the price back over a ceiling about 4% above it now. That would also put it back over the broken dip. The next ceiling beyond it is $113.16, about 20% above.

A daily close below $92.50 or above $97.30 would settle the test. Source: Binance SOL/USDT daily prices, to the 29 October daily close, computed by www.altcoinbuzz.io.
SOL now sits between $92.50 below and $97.30 above. A daily close past either line would show where it stands after the break.
