A coin with the Solana mark rests on a closed wooden trapdoor in a dark floor, a thin line of pink light glowing around the hatch edges.

SOL trades near $96.8, on its $97.30 floor. A floor is a price where falls have stopped before.

SOL is down about 18% over the past 30 days. On 29 October, it ended the day below its last swing low, a dip the price turned up from by a clear margin. That break ended a rising shape on its chart.

SOL Ends Its Run of Rising Peaks and Dips

The swing low that gave way sits at $95.82. It formed on 15 September.

Until the break, each peak had topped the last one, and each dip had stopped above the last dip. That is the shape of a rise.

The price broke below its last swing low at $95.82. Price chart, 2 Aug 2026 to 30 Oct 2026. The last swing low at $95.82 is marked: a daily close went through it on 29 October. Price now $96.77.

The $97.30 floor sits just above the broken swing low. It has turned the price 6 times since early April 2025.

The last turn came on 15 September.

The Day After the Break Brought Heavier Trading

SOL rose about 0.8% on 30 October, the day after the break. The rise left it back above $95.82, though still on its $97.30 floor.

Trading on Binance came to $295 million that day. That was about 50% above its 20-day average.

The longer trend still points up. SOL sits about 9% above its 200-day average, and that average is rising.

The 200-day average is the average closing price of the last 200 days, the line most often used for the long-term trend. It stands at $88.79.

SOL Sits Between $97.30 and $113.16

A daily close is the last price of the day.

A daily close above $113.16 would retake a level that was a floor until the price fell under it. That level sits about 17% above the price now. The next level on that side is $124.54, about 29% above.

A daily close below $97.30 would put $92.50, the next level on that side, in view. That level sits about 4% below the price now.

A daily close below $97.30 or above $113.16 would settle the test. Price now $96.77. Above: Ceiling at $113.16, 16.9% above. Next ceiling at $124.54, 28.7% above. Below: Floor at $97.30, at the price now. Next floor at $92.50, 4.4% below.

A daily close below $97.30 or above $113.16 would settle the test. Source: Binance SOL/USDT daily prices, to the 30 October daily close, computed by www.altcoinbuzz.io.

One of two daily closes would settle this: a finish above $113.16, or a finish below $97.30.
