Only 43% of players qualified for the season one airdrop because a whopping 2.3 million users were caught cheating.
The game’s team took a stand against unfair play. This will ensure that only honest players got to benefit from the airdrop.
Season One Airdrop
In a recent post on X, the Hamster Kombat team shared details about the first airdrop. They announced that they would give 60 billion Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) tokens to qualified users. In total, the project sets aside 75 billion of its 100 billion tokens for the community. That’s a huge chunk of the pie, showing the team’s commitment to rewarding their loyal players.
Of the 60 billion tokens being airdropped after season one, most users will get 88.75% of their tokens right away. That comes out to 53.25 billion tokens being sent to players immediately. However, there’s a little catch—11.25% of the tokens will be held back for 10 months. After that time, users will receive the remaining 6.75 billion tokens.

This gradual release, or “vesting,” keeps players engaged and loyal to the project long after the tokens list on exchanges. It’s like someone promises you dessert after dinner—you’ve got to stick around to enjoy the whole meal.
Looking Forward to Season Two
The Hamster Kombat team isn’t stopping here. They’ve already announced that another 15% of the total token supply will be up for grabs during season two of the game. That’s another 15 billion tokens heading to players who qualify.

By banning 2.3 million cheaters, Hamster Kombat is sending a clear message—cheaters never prosper. This move fairly rewards honest players. A game like this needs to remain fair and fun for everyone. And, the team’s actions show their commitment to maintaining that.
