SOL trades near $92, on its $92.50 floor. A floor is a price where falls have stopped before.
The price is down about 9% over the past 7 days. Its relative strength index now reads 29, below the 30 line. That index is a 0 to 100 score of how strongly the price has risen or fallen lately.
SOL's Score Slips Under 30 After a Steep Slide
A score below 30 is often read as a fall that went too fast. Above 70 is read the same way for a rise.
At 29, SOL sits just inside that lower zone. The score describes the speed of the recent fall, measured against the price's own recent behaviour.

How Steep Has SOL's Slide Been Since October?
The size of the drop matches the low score. The price is down about 24% since the close of 4 October.
That fall is far more than its usual daily swings would add up to over the same days. In other words, the drop ran well beyond SOL's normal pace.
The longer view points the same way. On the weekly chart, each peak has come in below the last one since the week of 7 April 2025.
Each dip over that stretch has also gone below the dip before it.
The latest day was steadier. SOL finished 3 November up about 0.9%.
Where SOL's $92.50 Floor Meets the $97.30 Ceiling
The $92.50 level was once a ceiling, a price where rises have stopped before. It became a floor after the price rose over it.
Since mid February, it has turned the price 6 times. Its last turn came on 11 May.
The nearest ceiling sits at $97.30, about 6% above the price. A daily close is the last price of the day.
A daily close below $92.50 would break that floor. The next floor down sits at $83.98, about 9% below.
A daily close above $97.30 would put the price back over that ceiling. The next one up sits at $113.16, about 23% above.

A daily close below $92.50 or above $97.30 would settle the test. Source: Binance SOL/USDT daily prices, to the 3 November daily close, computed by www.altcoinbuzz.io.
SOL now sits between its $92.50 floor and its $97.30 ceiling. The first daily close beyond either one would settle which line gives way.
