A coin with the XRP mark lies in the sagging centre of a rope safety net stretched over a dark drop.

XRP trades near $1.28, on its $1.276 floor. A floor is a price where falls have stopped before.

The price was down about 1.4% today so far. That leaves XRP resting right on the level, with no room left between the two. Will the floor stop this slide as well?

XRP Rests on a Floor With a Long Record

The $1.276 floor has turned the price 8 times since mid November 2024.

The most recent of those turns came on 16 September.

The floor is right at the price now, so there is no gap to measure. Over the past 30 days, the price was down about 19%.

In the 30 days to 25 October, XRP moved inside a single band. That band ran from a low of $1.25 to a high of $1.58.

The price sits right on its $1.276 floor. Price chart, 28 Jul 2026 to 25 Oct 2026. The floor at $1.276 is marked: has turned the price 8 times since mid November 2024. Price now $1.28.

Trading on Binance Ran Well Below Its Usual Pace

Trading volume is the total value bought and sold in a market. On 25 October, trading in XRP on Binance came to $74.8 million.

That was about 40% below its 20-day average. That figure covers a single day, the last full one before today.

So what would settle the matter at this floor?

XRP Between a $1.276 Floor and a $1.36 Ceiling

A daily close is the last price of the day. Above the price sits a ceiling, a price where rises have stopped before. The nearest one is at $1.36, about 6% above.

A daily close above $1.36 would put XRP back over that ceiling. The next level on that side is $1.41, about 10% above.

A daily close below $1.276 would take XRP under its floor. The next level on that side is $1.17, about 8% below.

A daily close below $1.276 or above $1.36 would settle the test. Price now $1.28. Above: Ceiling at $1.36, 6.1% above. Next ceiling at $1.41, 10.0% above. Below: Floor at $1.276, at the price now. Next floor at $1.17, 8.1% below.

A daily close below $1.276 or above $1.36 would settle the test. Source: Binance XRP/USDT daily prices, to the 25 October daily close, computed by www.altcoinbuzz.io.

A daily close over $1.36, or under $1.276, is what would settle where XRP stands.
