The blockchain world is buzzing with excitement as Pumpfun gears up for its first-ever public token sale.
The $PUMP token sale will be available from July 12 through July 15, giving new users and seasoned investors a three-day window to get in early.
Pumpfun is putting 150 billion $PUMP tokens up for sale at $0.004 each. With a total supply of 1 trillion, this means just 15% of all tokens will be available during this public round. Based on the sale price, Pumpfun’s fully diluted valuation (FDV) lands at $4 billion — a big number for a project that started as a simple token creation tool.

The timing of this token sale is no coincidence. The meme coin market has been red hot in 2024, especially on Solana. Projects like Bonk and Dogwifhat proved that meme coins can evolve from internet jokes into billion-dollar assets. Pumpfun is riding that same wave — but with a twist.
Gate.io has unexpectedly removed the $PUMP token sale page from its platform, raising questions among investors and the broader crypto community. While no official explanation has been given, the removal comes just days before the public sale is set to begin, adding a layer of uncertainty to what was expected to be a highly anticipated launch.
Users are now looking to official Pumpfun channels for updates and clarity on whether the sale will proceed as planned or shift to a new venue.
