YZi Labs backs 10X Capital’s new U.S. BNB Treasury Company managing digital assets on BNB Chain.
This new entity plans to list publicly on a major U.S. stock exchange, marking a potential first for BNB-focused investments in the American market. It also represents the latest effort to build bridges between Web3 innovation and Wall Street. According to YZi Labs, this partnership merges the strength of the BNB ecosystem with 10X Capital’s track record in digital asset fund management.
The BNB Treasury Company brings together a heavyweight team of finance and crypto veterans. David Namdar, co-founder of Galaxy Digital and Senior Partner at 10X Capital, will help lead the venture. He is joined by Russell Read, the former Chief Investment Officer for CalPERS and other major institutions, and Saad Naja, a former Kraken executive with deep brokerage experience.
10X Capital is not new to this model. The firm helped launch Nakamoto (Nasdaq: NAKA), one of the first U.S.-listed treasury companies focused on Bitcoin. Now, with the support of investment banks Cohen & Company Capital Markets and Clear Street LLC, 10X is raising capital for its initial BNB acquisition. The company will serve as both sponsor and asset manager of the BNB Treasury Company.
The goal is not just to hold BNB, but to offer U.S. investors a transparent, regulated way to gain exposure to the BNB Chain’s ecosystem, which powers hundreds of decentralized apps and millions of users. This move reflects a growing trend: more investors want access to digital assets, but through familiar and compliant structures.
The 32nd quarterly burn of $BNB tokens has just been completed directly on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC). In this latest event, a total of 1,595,599.78 BNB tokens were permanently removed from circulation.
Token burns like this reduce the total supply. It can help increase scarcity and potentially support the token’s value over time. This ongoing process is part of BNB’s commitment to maintaining a healthy ecosystem and delivering long-term value to holders.
