Are IDOs worth your time? Pros and Cons

Most of our members are usually busy and it is very difficult for them to find time to keep track and participate in IDOs, add to that vesting schedules.

So the question comes, “I would have to move other things from my agenda & prioritize IDOs. Is it worth it? To earn just 100 USD or 200 USD doesn’t merit the effort for me. Do IDO projects have a bigger upside?”

How the IDO Cycle Works
  1. Pre-Bull Market (Current market) – IDOs have just started getting hot but not all projects are delivering results. Launchpad tokens are still relatively cheap.
  2. Bull Market – In the previous bull market any IDO gave an average return of 7-10x. One $250 allocation of Bloktopia gave us $80,000 in return. One single IDO can turn the game around. However it is very difficult to get into Launchpads now as the Launchpad price will skyrocket and allocations will get reduced, as you have already seen with GAFI and EJS prices rising,
  3. Towards the end of the Bull Market – This is when you have maximum greed and this is when you get out and sell all of your launchpad tokens even though there are some hot upcoming launches. So if you are staking, ensure you stake in shorter cycles.
  4. Bear Market – Launchpad tokens are useless in a bear market and it is a great time for accumulation again from your previous profits.

In the above case, we suggest, you read our review reports that we do for every IDO and decide on your participation. If the project is hyped or has good multiplier possibilities, we will in the report.

Also, do not participate in FCFS Rounds and go for Guaranteed. So contrary to airdrops, the Effort vs Rewards is higher in IDO as an alternate stream of income.
