Crypto.com has announced that its Visa cards will now be made available to customers in Canada.
As a result, Canadians can now apply for their Crypto.com Visa cards, and shipping to Canada will begin in January.
Features of the Crypto.com Visa Card
The Crypto.com Visa card has now become the most available card of its kind. The card is loaded with perks, in addition to its sleek high-end metal design. The perks which users will enjoy include the absence of monthly or annual maintenance fees, as well as no-fee ATM withdrawals. In addition, users will benefit from an absence of fees for foreign transactions, a 10% rebate for Expedia, and a 100% payback for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Shopify.
Selected card tiers can be eligible to gain access to airport lounges, and users can be rewarded with up to 8% back instantly for their transactions. These rewards will be in CRO, the native token for Crypto.com. Also, the Crypto.com Visa Debit cards are not loaded with crypto assets. Rather, they are loaded with fiat currency, thereby making all transactions to be made in fiat currency.
Using the card is according to terms and conditions that have been laid down in the applicable Cardholder Agreement. The fee schedule and ATM bank fees may apply if needed.
Crypto.com Expands Its Visa Cards to Canada
Canada is one of the countries that is steadily adopting the emerging trends of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. Therefore, it is a natural next step for Crypto.com to expand its Visa card to its customers in Canada. In just three minutes, Crypto.com customers in Canada can be able to reserve a Crypto.com Visa card on the Crypto.com App. This onboarding process also includes an ID verification.
When the Visa cards are ready for shipping, applicants will receive notifications. The issuing status can also be monitored on the App.
Adding Canada to the list of countries that Crypto.com supports with their Visa card shows that the card is one of the most widely available cards of its kind. Canadian support follows the launch of the Crypto.com Visa card in Europe in April 2020. Singapore received the card in October 2018 while the United States got the card in July 2019.
