Top game network built on the Tron network, “Tron Game Center” has announced a strategic move to popular blockchain gaming, and NFT platform Enjin (ENJ). In line with this, the game network has also changed its name from “Tron Game Center” to Pandemic Multiverse.
Interestingly, the game network will now be live on Enjin (ENJ) popular gas-free, and eco-friendly blockchain JumpNet. Interestingly, Enjin recently announced JumpNet as being carbon-neutral with regards to its fight to ensure environmental sustainability in the blockchain industry.
Why Enjin?
Several important factors contributed to Pandemic Metaverse’s choice of Enjin (ENJ) blockchain. One of these factors is Enjin’s ERC-1155 token standard. The token standard will facilitate the easy and stress-free integration of the game network’s NFTs into several games.
Thanks to Enjin API and gas-free JumpNet blockchain, the Pandemic team was able to complete the move to Enjin in just a few weeks.
Speaking on the move, Pandemic CEO, Andreas Hennersdorf, revealed that Enjin was the best choice because of its focus on the gaming space. Adding that, Tron on the other hand “[…] is more populated with casinos.” Hennersdorf also spoke highly of Enjin’s API simplistic nature. Revealing that the Pandemic Metaverse also almost completely integrated JumpNet before reaching out to the Enjin team.
