HPB can now be stored on the Ledger Cold Wallet
After many months of rumors and community members requesting access to a cold hardware wallet to store HPB, Ledger has finally announced that HPB can be installed through their Ledger Live Manager. This announcement coincided with the launch of www.myhpbwallet.com, where you will be able to manage your HPB storage in the same way www.myetherwallet.com allowed Ledger cold storage. Ledger made the announcement on Tuesday 5/14/2019.

With MyHPBWallet, please take some time to familiarize yourself with the website and how it works. If you are interested in storing your HPB on your ledger, consider practicing with small amount of your total holding, in order to feel confident and comfortable with your transaction. Be sure to bookmark the URL, as inevitably anytime a new web wallet is created, a scammer will act as an imposter and create a similar website in order to try and scam via a phishing scheme. There were numerous reports of people falling victim to these with MyEtherWallet. There should be no problems as long as you double check the URL. If you are using a cold wallet on MyHPBWallet, then you have even less to worry about.
I am very excited about this! I am actually really impressed with the official HPB wallet and it feels extremely secure, but nothing beats the security of cold storage in a hardware wallet. If you do not have yourself a Ledger, consider buying one. I sleep much better at night knowing my funds are safe.
