Leading cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Pro is adding support for three new altcoins: Chiliz (CHZ), Keep Network (KEEP), and Shiba Inu (SHIB). Listing for the coins takes place today – Tuesday, June 15.
Coinbase Pro announced the addition of the tokens via an official blog post. The exchange noted that users can now transfer the assets (CHZ, KEEP, and SHIB) into their account ahead of trading. Said trading is scheduled to begin Thursday, June 17 on or after 9 AM Pacific Time.

The top exchange noted that the tokens were added due to continuous requests from users, demanding to be able to trade more assets on the platform.
Additionally, Coinbase Pro noted that the newly added coins will be available in Coinbase’s supported jurisdictions apart from Singapore. The exchange added that CHZ and SHIB will also not be available to customers based in New York.
Notably, trading, once it begins, will include CHZ-USD, CHZ-EUR, CHZ-GBP, CHZ-USDT, KEEP-USD, SHIB-USD, and SHIB-USDT. Also, order books will launch in three phases: post-only, limit-only, and full trading.
Coinbase Pro Adds Support for DOT and DOGE
It is also worth noting that in addition to CHZ, Coinbase Pro added support for DOT, the native currency of the Polkadot blockchain, a few days ago.

Supported trading pairs include DOT-USD, DOT-BTC, DOT-EUR, DOT-GBP, and DOT-USDT. As a result of the listing, DOT’s price rallied 19%. The token is currently trading at $25.12.
Also, earlier this month, the exchange added support for Dogecoin (DOGE), which was created in 2013. Notably, Coinbase Pro currently supports over 50 cryptocurrencies, and the exchange noted that more assets would be listed shortly if they pass the verification process.
CHZ, KEEP, and SHIB Prices
Chiliz price, since Coinbase Pro disclosed its addition, has rallied by 16.9%. It was trading at $0.323294 with a 24-hour trading volume of $691,722,402. Notably, CHZ currently has a circulating supply of 5.3 billion CHZ coins and a max supply of 8.89 billion.
KEEP has seen a nice movement in price after being added to Coinbase Pro. Currently, the coin is trading at $0.563290, shooting up 9.3% over the last 24 hours. KEEP has a market cap of $245,754,815 and a 24-hour trading volume of $20,924,076.
As for Shiba Inu, the Ethereum-based alternative to Dogecoin, has shot up an astounding 30.7% for the day. SHIB is currently trading at $0.00000917. Shiba Inu has a market cap of $4,583,723,883 and a 24-hour trading volume of $1,184,869,487.
