If you need a recap, you can check out Part 1 of this series here. Previously, we went through the basics of the project. So, do hop on over to Part 1 before reading today’s article!

Tamadoge NFTs

Tamadoge isn’t just a meme coin project. It’s also a gaming and NFT project, all rolled up into one. Let’s take a closer look at its NFTs, and what they do for its owners. To summarize, the project has 3 types of NFTs:

  • Common. In total, 20,000 of these NFTs exist. Check them out on OpenSea here.
  • Rare. In total, only 1,000 of these NFTs exist. Check them out on OpenSea here. The “Doggos” here dress better than the Common tier.
  • Ultra Rare. In total, only 100 of these NFTs exist. Check them out on OpenSea here and in the below screenshot. In comparison, these “Doggos” are shinier and brighter than previous tiers.

“Hey! These NFTs look just like trading cards. What can I use them for?”. Indeed, when I first researched this project, that went through my mind. Many NFTs in this space are just images or JPEGs. There really isn’t any utility for them. But this is not the case for Tamadoge.

With its NFTs, you get a more robust “Doggo” for your arcade games. Your “Doggo” is faster and more durable. In turn, you’re more likely to get a higher score in said games. This improves your chances to win $TAMA rewards.

Is Tamadoge Legit?

As far as we know, Tamadoge has done its audits with SolidProof and SysFixed. This shows that the team is committed to the security of its project and its users. However, this does not mean that the project is immune to hacks or bugs. An audit is never a full guarantee that a project is safe.

On top of that, per CoinGecko, the team can mint new $TAMA tokens at will with its control of the project’s smart contracts. With this possibility, users can only trust that the team will not mint more tokens for selfish purposes. Furthermore, hackers can also capitalize on this feature to mint unlimited tokens in their own wallets.

So, to answer the question, we would say that Tamadoge is legit to a certain extent. It has shown commitment to the project via development and audits. But still, the project is still risky in comparison to most non-meme projects in crypto today. Hence, we advise you to proceed with caution when buying $TAMA tokens.

Conclusion

That’s it! We’ve come to the end of our two-part series on Tamadoge. We hope you’ve learned all that you needed to for this fascinating project. Now, what’re you waiting for? It’s time to get your “Doggos” jumping, running, and shooting pucks.
