Countries like India, Japan, the Philippines all saw blockchain gain strong momentum in their regions.  Others like  Australia, Kazakhstan, Brazil, and the Eastern Caribbean recently opened up on their plans regarding central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

The crypto rush also spilled into global organizations like Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook (now Meta). Twitter and a host of others were part of the revolution.  These organizations supported the crypto space, granting it more credibility than it had since it began.

More to Come?

Some participants believe that the 4-year cycle is broken and expect the long-term bull market to continue into the new year. That’s despite the recent dip. Here’s a look at what crypto project leaders have in store ahead of 2022.
